EURO RSCG WORLDWIDE NAMED DIRECT AGENCY OF THE YEAR BtoB MAGAZINE
NEW YORK, OCTOBER 11, 2010—Euro RSCG Worldwide has been named as the 2010 Direct Agency of the Year by BtoB Magazine, in the October 11 issue. Being named Agency of the Year was attributed to a solid year of growth in the agency’s b-to-b direct business with key account wins and award-winning b-to-b campaigns over the past year. Significant new assignments over the past 12 months include Euro RSCG 4D’s appointment as lead digital agency for global technology leader IBM and Euro RSCG Chicago’s appointment as a digital agency of record for Sprint. The agency has also created high profile b-to-b campaigns for clients including Charles Schwab and NYSE Euronext.
In an interview for BtoB’s special report, George Gallate, global chairman, Euro RSCG 4D, described Euro RSCG’s integrated approach to direct and digital marketing: “One thing I think we’ve done as an agency is take the basic premise we all learned in direct and apply it to all communications–everything we do must be targeted, accountable and persuasive. Those are the basic principles upon which we build creative business ideas,” said Gallate.
